Featured Replies

anyone replaced a sump?

i went to change my one tonight and the new one i got from skoda has a hole in it which looks like something screws into the underside of it but the one on my car doesnt have this and where the hole is on the new one the current one is blanked off.

had to use a temporary fix to seal the hole in mine til i can resolve the issue.

Hi mate.

the sump you have got is one for a car that has an oil condition sensor....

These are usually found on the VW cars that have long life servicing.

The only fabia I have seen with an oil condition sensor is wardys

It may be a case of aquiring a sensor to fill the gap but not wire it up.

I never knew that!

Maybe as it's an early one and they changed their minds about offering longlife servicing?
