Door Open Light

Featured Replies

Does your fabia have a light on the dashboard when a door is open?

It certainly does :D

And the boot open light when your rear washer comes off and gets into the microswitch. Booooo...

Not had that problem in ages though since the motor got launched.

mmm. interesting.

Do you have Auto Lock and Auto Unlock enabled?

Reason I ask is I'm sure SWMBO's fabia had a light on the dashboard yet I've noticed it now doesn't light up yet the door lights still come on and the interior light still comes on when a door is open. There are NO faults showing, the only thing I can think of is I enabled Auto Lock and Auto Un-Lock on the weekend and haven't had chance to see if the light comes back on if dis-abled.

Neither mine or SWMBOs Comforts have them. I thought it was only fitted to Elegance and vRS models?

where abouts is the microswith you are talking about for the boot light? as mine has just recently started stayin on the whole time.

cheers for any help

The light is only on the dash when the engine is running and door open, I dont know if it comes on when the rear doors are open though

There is a light for when the boot is open aswell.

That would explain it then, just started the car while putting the kids in and the light was on.

nothing to worry about then
