Do they do an OEM cd changer to aftermarket headunit

Featured Replies

as title im looking for a lead that will plug into the oem cd changer loom that was left after i fitted my new headunit and into my kenwood headunit, does one exist ive looked but to no avail, they do adapters the other way round i.e aftermarket cd changer to oem headunit but i cant seem to find it the other way, cheers

Never heard of one myself, and the majority of posts I've read seem to suggest if you replace the headunit, you do so at the loss of the factory changer as there is no way to connect it, but feel free to prove me wrong.

If you find a way, then please let us know. Not that I particularly miss mine, as I just use the single CD in the aftermarket unit as well as my iPod into the new USB connectivity I have, but it'd be good to know as I've heard it asked more than a few times on here. Good luck.

In short Trevor, no.

They work the other way round, but you won't be able to use the OEM changer with an aftermarket head unit I'm afraid :(
