well I have sold the A6 to a man from bedford who insisted on calling me "boss" quite and lot and used the word "innit" in every other sentence !!

All i have to do now is sit and wait for the superb...which is theoretically being built sometime this week.

didnt get as much for the A6 as i would have liked but got about £400-£500 more than i would have got trade it. If anyone still wants to buy the A6 its back on auto trader ! - the guy who bought it said he was using it for himself but i knew he was a trader and going to sell it again for a profit. He is brave as the price i got for it was current auction price (CAP) and i had it on auto trader, with not much interest, at a similar price to what he has advertised it at. When i spoke to james he said his local traders were not that interested in the car and thus would only offer me a low price for it. Not sure what makes the guy who bought it from me think he will be able to sell it, but not my problem i guess !!

oh yes - and he lied in his advert "one owner form new" - not correct. "full audi service history" - not correct. "electric seats" - not correct !! I have emailed auto trader to tell them of his misrepresentations and they have said their legal compliance team will contact him. pleased that auto trader took me seriously and responded within 24 hrs - well done autotrader !

I added Park Assist, the uprated sound system, dipping mirror, washer jets, boot net and mats and I'm having it Supaguarded (sp?) inside and out. I don't want it until January 16th., which should be fine all round. You'll probably get yours before I get mine, but the proof will be in the posted pictures!

A bit spookie reading that. My Rosso 170Cr was also (hopefully!) built last week and has similar spec to yours (except it's a manual). They might well be on the same transport across. I've been told to expect delivery probably mid Jan. I imagine the cars are sitting around outside the factory right now just waiting to go...

ok - now i am starting to worry about you....NURSE !!!!

Just to clarify - I specified the delivery date - I don't want it before then. I ordered it on the 10th. of October 2008 at the Tunbridge Wells dealership. Just to make things simpler (not!) they're moving to a much larger premises in Tonbridge (the former Vauxhall dealership near Sainsburys), so I've got another 3 miles to travel each way. How inconsiderate!

Just to clarify I ordered mine in the last week of October for delivery asap, seems more or less on track from the originally quoted delivery date, give or take a week.

Ordered car on 4th November, dealer just rang to say that car was built this week and being shipped next week,he guaranteed delivery for Jan 5th.Black Elegance with Ivory leather.:thumbup:.Then I just have to pay for it.......:eek::eek:

seems they turn around the diesels quicker than the petrols (maybe to compensate for the fact that once you get it, it will always be slower !!! he he he)
