As the title suggests, it was done this afternoon by James of Chipboost fame. He offered a Briskoda discount and has done a great job. All the usual quotes of 'Wow', '..pulls like a train...' and '..should have done it sooner!' are all true.

James knew his stuff and was a genuinely nice bloke who was as good as his word. If only everyone you met was like that eh?

So far the car seems happy with it's new map and drives just like it used to, but in fast forward.

Glad your happy. I have never had any work done by him but have met him and he does seem to be a nice, genuine bloke. Do you know what map you have on now or does he make his own?

He bought this particular map and has used it before. It isn't aggressive or spiky and is fairly smooth all the way to the red line. It's early days I know and people will say I should have gone down the custom map/rolling road session route, but he is local, willing to help if needs be and knows his stuff.

I must admit I am a bit nervous about mapping my car as I've had it from new and the chance of something going wrong due to a generic map versus a custom one is a gamble, but time will tell....
