There might be a slightly different version of the current system coming out this year, but there won't be an all new Wii2 for quite a while.

The deals on the current system are pretty good right now so I wouldn't worry about waiting for a revised Mk1 wii

The 'new' version of the Mk1 has a rejigged motherboard to stop people installing modchips to play copied game DVD's. I don't think it has any 'upgraded' features as far as I could tell?

Internals often get revised during the lifetime of a console mainly as new cheaper manufacturing methods come along as well as anti-piracy measures and unless your into modifying them it would go unnoticed.

I suppose there's a chance they'll put the revised wii-motion controllers in - the ones that Reggie completely stuffed up when using at E3
