Brake pad wear light

Featured Replies

hi there everyone, just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this

fitted my shiny new tarox g88 discs and fast road pads 2day, but the electrical connection on the pads doesnt seem to fit, seems to be a femal connection on the car, and a female on the pad as well.

so for the time being im driving around with the annoying little light on, is there anyway around having the lights on? maybe just shorting the connection?

thanks in advance

Assuming it is meant to be a nc loop, then just short out the female connection on the car loom with a piece of wire. Or take the wire (complete with its male connector) from the old pad, short that (and insulate), plug it in to the car loom and tie-wrap out of the way.
