I have this crazy problem and it would be wonderful if any of you could help me with this please!

Mine is a Skoda superb (2005/05 elegance) . Suddenly the electrical seat adjustment doesn't work for the driver seat any more! Pressing the buttons has no effect! The passenger side seat still works though.

I was just wondering if any members have experienced something like this. It would be great if anyone could give me any suggestions or advice please?

My dealer is about a 100 miles away. (None of the local dealers had a Superb when I bought this! ) So I am thinking about taking it to a local Skoda specialist. I do have a warranty from the dealer but not sure if this is covered though. If it is not covered then it I don't want to bother driving all the way. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. Just started today all working fine yesterday and the passenger seat works fine.

Is it turned off?

this happened to my mark1 and the fix was to disconnect the power to the seat and reconnect. Seems crazy but it worked!

Not that crazy, it's got a control unit, quite often need rebooting.

Hi, seems like all Skod Superb's have the same problem coz it's just happened to me yesterday that the drivers seat controls are non responsive, but the passenger seat is working fine. I'm not very technically minded so can someone go through it point by point how to reboot the thing and where & how do i get to the disconnect the power.

 

Secondly the inner cabin light has stopped coming on when i open the doors. The light bulbs are fine, can anyone help PLEASE!!…..

Does the light stays off if you open all doors or only one?

The interior lights don't come on regardless of any doors opening! But still work is you turn them on by the internal consul switch!

Scan would probably show where the problem is.

Have you checked for the dreaded water ingress? these are some of the tell tail signs.

Even I am facing a similar issue I have a skoda superb manual 2013 model suddenly the car seat has started acting weird when I adjust the car seat to the driving position it work fine and then while I am driving it automatically goes back to the resting position, I am not able to figure out the issue has someone faced a similar issue. Please reply
