Google AdWords. How do you ****ing delete them?

Featured Replies

I had a look playing around with google adwords for my father. Having created an AdWord, I haven't activated it and submitted my billing information, as it was just to see how it worked.

I now want to delete the AdWord I have created. But it seems impossible. There is "edit" and I can delete my keywords, but what if I want to delete the whole thing?!?

Grrrr :mad::mad::mad:

You can delete the entire campaign from Campaign Management (tab) > Campaign Summary > check the box next to the campaign and press the delete button at the top of the page.

Within each campaign you can also do the same to each of the Ad Groups.

Within each Ad Group you can view the Keywords or Ad Variations and delete either as needed.

But are these only available in the full version? I only have the starter pack and there's no campaign management tab :confused:

As far as I'm aware, there's no starter / full version! :confused::confused:

Every client of mine that uses AdWords has the exact same dashboard layout. What do you see when you go to https://adwords.google.com/select/CampaignSummary

There's a "starter edition" and then "Standard edition" which has more options but I don't need them.

This is what I get when I log in:

Wow that's seriously basic! Can you switch to the full version to make any modifications, then revert back to the starter version afterwards?

Nope! You can upgrade but can never "downgrade" to a starter version.

Go for the full version, it's not that scary once you get into it and gives you complete control! ;)
