Air Filter

Featured Replies

HI all,

New to the site having just purchased my 1st Skoda, a 2006 mk2 2.0 tfsi vRS Estate in Black magic, and I have to say I've had it 2 weeks now and I would definately get the same again when the time comes, driving is fun again! I can't believe the level of badge snobbery still about though!

Anyway, down to business, I am after replacing the exsisting panel filter with a piper cross or equivilent, can anyone tell me how to access and change it, or can anyone recommend an induction kit upgrade? also I've looked into remapping, and found a company 'Custom Tuning' based in Yorkshire, that offer a tailored service for only £200, they claim bhp increases of up to 35% and also improved fuel economy of up to 12%.....seems to good to be true, any ideas?

Hi,

I went with simple panel filter pipercross PP1621 and car seems liking it :)

Hi

I have not heard of that company

But to be fair , I have a custom remap on my car , a little Fabia 100PD and I have seen a major increase in fuel economy and is now 141BHP

I also have the Pipercross filter in and saw 4MPG on that too

It is :D all the way

We do the Pipercoss filters at £28 + VAT too

The remap will bring lots of grins , it is like a new car to drive afterwards , so would reccomend that too
