Superb Comfort Vs MFD

Hi guys,

Just been doing a lot of reading about retrofitting an MFD unit into the superb...

I've been reading and there seems to be a line of thought that goes

1) I'll lose the steering wheel controls

2) I'll lose the top of the Driver information display

if I swap to an MFD unit.

Can anyone advise if this is true?

Further does anyone have a coding guide that has been confirmed working with the superb?
