Washer Jets Stopped Working

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have just had my car serviced and now my washer jets don't work, the one on the passenger side does not work at all and the one one the drivers side does spray but has no power. Has something not bee connected back up? They worked perfectly before the service???

Might sound a bit obvious, but they haven't simply frozen in the cold weather have they?

Mine have stopped due to being frozen a couple of times, despite the fact that there is deicer mixed in.

I don't mind obvious, but i don't think they are frosen!

Had the same problem on my old Mk1 octy, the tube had come undone at the tee piece before the drivers side washer, therefore nothing coming out to the passenger side and minimal pressure to the drivers side. 5 minute job to reconnect the tube. This is a common problem if the nozzles become frozen, you go to wash the screen and nothing comes out, you try again and the pressure in the tubes forces the connections apart.

mine did this last year was told that if they freeze they can come off looks like my drivers side has gone again though gone

i've been looking but i can't see where the pipe has come off, is it off the washer jet itself?

Not sure about the Superb, but on the Octy the tube ran under the trim beneath the screen where the wipers are fitted and the tee piece was by the drivers side washer jet.
