Steering Controls

Guys, bit of a quandry here:

I've replaced my head unit with a JVC AVX810 - and am attempting to get the Mk1 Superb (2005) steering wheel controls working with the new head unit.

Had a look and have bought a connects2 CTSSK001 kit, which is advertised as all skoda vehicles <'05 (non-canbus.) When I've attempted to use this unit, the loom is trying to mesh with a pin that doesnt exist.

Do some of the late MK1 vehicles have can-bus steering wheel controls fitted? If so I think I'm going to have a fight on my hands, I'd hate to have to pull the distance selling act on the seller, as they've supplied the convertor remotely.
