Hi, I purchased a 2nd hand 2007 octavia 1.9tdi from a skoda dealer.

I didn't come with an antenna attached too the roof arieal...although the base is on the roof.

The dealer posted me on another ariel but this is with the base unit which is allready on the car.

Thing is how too I get the antenna of this onto the other base unit...when I unscrew it...it sticks at the last bit and no matter how hard I pull at it, it doesn't come off which leads me too believe its not suppose too.

can anyone let me know how can I fit this antenna?

push it towards the front of the car, it should ease out, wiggle it about and have a play, you should get it did mine the other day

Can't push towards the front of the car as its all in my hand(not on the car)....

Basically there is an aerial on the car allready with no antenna screwed in...

The dealer send me a new antenna and aerial combined.

Antenna is screwed into the base of the aerial...but can seem too get the antenna screwed out of this too put into the other base that is on the roof of the car...

tried hard tugging it, but a fraid of breaking it or something...is there any guide or manual on how too remove and put on the antenna ?

Sounds drastic, but if you get a crow bar, and put the V bit on the arial, and GENTLY prise it up, it will come off..make sure you have some cloth on the roof, to prevent scratching !!

Thanks for that ended up using the v on a hammer...worked nicely.....geez that is hard too get off!!
