Handed my vRS back to the finance company today, I nearly cried walking away from it, im really going to miss it :( (though not the fuel bill )

I've not touched it since I've got the Passat so as not to notice how much faster the vRS is. any way got in it to drive it away and couldn't resist giving it some welly, its only had a stage 1 map on it when it went back but still the same, quick car

My Passat is fast, but its just boring compared to the vRS, dont get me wrong, I really like the passat, its comfy, got everything I could possibly want but I loved the vRS

So If any one wants a bargin priced vRS keep an eye out at Manheim auctions at Rotherham and Leeds

I wont know to look out for you now, as you will just blend into the other traffic, your last car stood out amongst all the blandness, and by all accounts you loved it, so why not get another?

Anyway, my opinion aside, I hope you enjoy your new car, which is all that really matters

When im paying a sum of money above 10k for another car i dont want to pay for more of the same, and how many black passats with tinted windows and 18" alloys do you see goin flying past? :P only mine i reckon that and the passat had everything i wanted for a bargin price, far cheaper than the PD140 L&K's id been looking at

Will probly have to get another vRS at some point though the TFSi engine was ace, the passat is quick but it doesnt feel it, it just carries you up to 3 figures rather quickly on a wave of torque without any fuss, its boring lol remap should sort that out i hope

My mate had a Passat and 'boring' was the word he used too. He changed it for a Scirocco in the end.

Im suprised no one has seen my black octy rolling around on 18 RS4's, know how you feel about the fuel bill. When i had my 2.0T Astra Coupe, it use to cost around 3 times as much as the octy does in fuel.

I know where your coming from on the boring side of things, theres nothing like flying out of a bend all guns blazing with a 2.0T lol.

optional 18's as part of the sports spec, come with tints but wouldnt mind them a tad darker, stuck an RCD510/Bolero and Media In in it, should be running around 200bhp after a remap

and yes your right right browny, foot to the floor, 2nd gear out of a corner smoking an inside wheel, makes you feel involved with driving, with the passat its more a case of you tell it what to do and it does it. by the way, if you've seen a vRS estate been driving like theres a certified loon behind the wheel in the past 12 months round rotherham it was more than likely me

Not seen you im afraid matey, if you ever saw a flame red astra coupe turbo with darkish tints and a steinmetz grille (something different to all the irmscher grilles everyone else uses). That would have been me, did get rid of it last february though.

Use to drive around quite a bit, but once i got rid of the astra...i grew up a lil more and took a more serious attitude towards things.

Car is looking nice matey, the tints are dark enough. I was always thinking is that a unmarked rozzer when i had dark tints on the rear of the astra.

I reckon if it hadn't have been bright red, then it wouldn't have been a homing beacon for them. As it did stand out from the crowd.

200bhp, im chugging along with a PD105.....mega sluggish unless really having to push it hard. Also more than willing to obey the laws of physics, whilst its usually spew loads of smoke out whilst overtaking. haha!

should count my self lucky then going from 240-250bhp down to 170 :P
