I have an L&K Octavia Estate 1.9 04 reg and the driver door window wont open it just gives a clicking sound.

I have tried to remove the panel but got so far then got stuck are there any hidden screws to remove, I removed the ones round the trim and behind the heated mirror switch but that's it...i'm stuck...

Don't want to damage anything.

Any help appreciated....

Prize out the red safety light in the bottom corner of the door and disconnect it

Lever the door control panel (the part that contains your window switches) upwards and pull off (upwards) to reveal 3 large torx screws. The door panel can then be pull away from the door with a sharp tug. You are likely to break some of the plastic clips, but they can be replaced for ~20p each.

Try searching this forum - there's been a load of threads on door panel removal lately - some including pictures.

Finally, removing the plastic trim is not going to gain you access to the window mechanism - that is behind a further metal panel that is riveted in place. If you're not comfortable with drilling out the rivets etc, this is probably a job for the dealer...
