Help. Squeaking noise from front offside wheel??

Featured Replies

I have just heard whilst having the window down today a squeaking noise coming from the front offside wheel or what sounds like a not well oiled spring.

It can still be heard when driving at 30-50mph and i'm stumped as to what it could be.

Earlier today the tyre inflation pressure light came on but after checking all four wheels i could see no problems so pressed the inflation button (for 3 secs or so) and it went off and hasn't come back on since.

The car has done 31k and the front wheels were replaced at 28k on 18's

Does anyone have any ideas? Bearings/Callipers i'm not sure it's one of these?

Thanks

Possibly a slightly warped disk. Does it get faster with speed ? Also, when were the pads and disks last checked/changed ?

It doesn't tend to change with speed and it's definately more prominant when going over potholes. Brakes/Discs were last checked at 28,000 and not changes and seem to be performing well after today.

I'm thinking possible shock gone?

Not a rubber bush on the way out maybe?
