I joined the forum over a month ago, been in lurk mode ever since, but it seems like about time I said hullo...

Thanks to all the information on here, I'm now the proud owner of a 54 plate silver Fabia vRS. Its got 55K on the clock, and came with xeons and cruise control.

Bought as a Skoda approved car, so it has a year's warranty and roadside assistance.

So far, I'm very pleased with the car. While I've driven a few diesel cars in the past, this is the first time I've ever owned one, still getting used to the different engine characteristics.

I'm not planning to modify it (well, not at the moment...), though its handling isn't quite what I had hoped, so I may have to look at a few improvements in that area. For the moment, the performance will have to stay standard.

Once I get it properly polished up, I'll post a few photos. And I'll probably have lots of questions soon.
