I have been told that there is a trailer plug in the boot of my octavia which will allow me to plug a vehcle specific towbar wiring kit to my Octy, is this true?

The Kits cost around £120 quid, and it means you dont have to run cables from the front fuse box.

Has anyone fitted one or see anything like this?

i have seen this in the new superb 2, but not in the octy 2. could you be mistaken? cheers........

I've got one fitted by a tow bar fitter. No idea where it goes but you will still need vag com to set it up properly.

New one on me!
