I noticed a very small pool of oil around the filler cap tube base, its as if the oil cap is leaking and a small amount of oil is dribbling down to the rubber seal below the neck filler

Should there be a rubber seal on the base of the oil cap???

Could it be a dribble from when it was last topped up ?

no, Its seems to be weeping from the cap, as if there is a seal away but there isn't one that i can see

I'd wipe it and see if it comes back before worrying.
