i m the original thread starter , today went to glasgow skoda branch, and was told cant be done, i given the parts chap my chassis number and the year 2005 plate reg 2006 skoda 2 new shape if anybody knows otherwise will you please let me know otherwise i need to resort to put aftermarket one thank you in advance .

dont be put off, the parts deparment/dealers say it cant be done means nothing. VW dealer and skoda dealers both told me MDI (ipod/usb interface) couldn't be retrofitted to my car,

ended up doing it my self, took a couple of hours and most of that was trying to get pins out of a plug

I've known similiar cases of dealers saying things cant be done
