Turbo issues

Hello, I have recently decided to buy a Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDi elegance estate from a friend of the family. It has 121000 miles on it and is 01 reg. It doesnt really have any problems, however the owner has said that there is an oil leak which he has found coming from the turbo down to the intercooler.

I've come here to ask whether this is a big problem? Also would the turbo need replacing any time soon?
