Needed new brake pads for my fabia 1.4 MPI quite urgently.

would normally take the time to fit them myself as have done before. but havent got alot of time on my hands this week.

phone up my local supertyres and got a quote for £56.95 fully fitted including VAT

Seems OK. Sure you could get it cheaper somewhere but it would probably cost more in time/phonecalls than you'd save!

From a £60 quote, i ended up paying £165

Needed new discs,pads, rear drums cleaned and adjusted and i got them to adjust the handbrake.

ouch.

I'm of the opinion that they saw you coming there.

Hope you asked for the old parts to check them.

I watched them do the whole process,

the front brakes were shot to bits!

was something i had been meaning to get done for a long time, but only got it done when i had top bury my foot just to stop :(
