I am the owner of an 07 plate 1.6 fsi Octavia I get an unusual noise when I lift off to slow down for a junction and the engine is runnig at 1800 revs. If I accelerate again or press the clutch pedal the noise disappears. It is only evident between 1800 and 1500 revs. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Yes, I had it. But was around 1900 revs. Some resonance in the front part of the exhaust system.

Go to the dealer and there this have to be solved, hopefully.
