i got a second hand carbonio cai but it doesnt have the little filter with it. will i need one to fit my oct vrs mk1? where to get one?

Yes you will need one , and you can get then on Evilbay very cheap you just need to measure the pipe to get right size but they are only about £5.

i am sure someone else on here had the same dilemma as me so i will try and find out which one they used.

Hi mate, I just measured mine although in the dark. The diameter of the filter is approx 30mm. You will need to take your secondary airflow pipe from the standard air filter box, take off the plastic end cap and then push on the small filter and clamp down gently with a jubilee clip. My filter was a K&N but does not need to be.

cheers for that mate. i will have a look on ebay and see what i can find. so i just need to look for a 30mm filter?
