I'm sure I read somewhere on Briskoda that a (4%?) Skoda UK price increase is in the pipeline but I've searched and can't find the thread.

Am I remembering correctly, or is this just a figment of my imagination?

I'd like to place a new car order before any such price increases occur and would like to know how much time I've got left to make up my mind regarding options etc.(seems to change almost daily).

The current brochure and price list is effective until 30th June 2009 so Skoda will be free to increase the price from then onwards.

Yes, that was my thinking too.

I'm currently trying to get a definitive answer from the dealership, so far without much success. Anyway, that gives me a few more weeks to agonise over specs. etc.

I have been told that there is likely to be an increase soon! Maybe that is when they release the new VRS prices too?
