Featured Replies

hii havea leak but can not find it so thinking of using bar leak been tothere web site and it says that you dont have to flush your system out after use but onthe bottle it say to anybody used it before should i flush it out after ive run the scud for 30 mins if i have to then can anyone tellme were i can get this g12 antifreeze from thanks;)

If you have a coolant leak, get the system pressure tested and replace the leaking component. Radiators are a favourite failure point on VAG vehicles. Leak sealing compounds cause more trouble than they're worth, especially with VAG's flakey water pumps.

G12 coolant is available from GSF or (strangely) VAG dealers.

thanks leak is coming from the passenger side ofthe car were the passenger seat it crawled undeneath and it is dripping from what i can only call as a silver isulating jacket can notsee any leaks at the front end at all anyidea how much pressure test would cost

That's not coolant, that is water from the air conditioning system. Turn on the air con and you will get it.

If you put the car to econ and go for a 15 minute drive when you park up there will be no water coming from there.
