12v Switched supply in Fabia 2 Estate

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to install a CK-7W bluetooth phone kit using an AutoLeads wiring loom to the back of my Dance headunit in my new Fabia 2 Estate. Everything is working well with the exception of the CK-7W not switching itself off with the ignition. Looking at the pin-outs on the head unit and plug, there is no 12v switched supply and I'm assuming that the radio is switched off via the CAN-bus when the ignition is turned off.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I can locate a 12V switched outlet, alternatively I think I will need an ingnition sensor module?

Cheers.

not sure what colour the wire is (yellow or Red?) the plug for the original radio has a wire which turns it off when the ignition switch is removed (not just turned off). If you look at the Electrics diagram for the cars audio system ,somewhere on this site you will find the correct wire,or look in the Haynes Manual if you have one.
