Hi i need to touch up my wheels, but i dont know the colour code (I rang my dealer and they couldnt help, other than saying taking to a wheel referbisher specialist, but i want to DIY).

The wheels are a different silver to the elegance's, I think it was listed as a dark chrome (from what i read on parkers) but i would say its not that dark but is more shiney than normal, basically how the off the shelf chrome paints tend to look in reality when you use them.

Any body know the paint code for them?

Ahh tough one that. I know the colour you mean because I almost bought a green L&K with the dark chrome wheels.

Maybe try Plasticote paints at B&Q. They seem to have a large range of metallic and chromed colours.

sorted, went to a wheel furbisher for advice he said it was a type of shadow chrome which would be revealing trade secrets if he told me how to do it. I then went to a paint specialist, who said if it is shadow chrome then they wasnt anything they could do as it was a special technique/ paint, but they came out with a swatch we agreed on the best match and they mixed some up, looked good on the swatch but I will find out when I get round to doing the job.

(edit: for future reference the code of the paint i got is: 61096-61086 / 80 20 Silver I will report how good a match it is when I have tried some on a wheel (which may or may not be any time soon))
