just had a look on here clive & there is a difference between a 2002 & a 2004 so were both not cracking up!:) hopefully the motors are the same!

i hope so mate  i guess whe should have checked that first ( i blame you )lol:rofl::rofl:

let me know if it doesnt and i will see what i can do:thumbup:

I think that they changed for the 2004 model year. My Elegance is a late 2003, 53 plate and has the plastic type which covers the blade. Before I bought it, I looked at an earlier 2003 Elegance on an 03 plate and this had the exposed blade type.

I thought the ealier one must have had a cover missing, but I've looked a more since and discovered that there was a change at around the 53 plate.

No photos I'm afraid, but I hope this helps.

anyone know the difference?

yep as above the early type had the metal bar showing and the later model is cover in plastic

as we have now found out lol

Mine originally had this:

I changed it to this:

The one on the hatch is different. The plastic cover on the later type (like mine) runs the entire length of the blade. Also, the blade itself is curved like the front passenger side one and only appears to be available from Skoda dealers.

would rather have a rear wiper ta! besides the later arm(fitted to mine) looks smart,if i had the horrible earlier one fitted then i would consider removing it! :)
