I got me the VAG-com program and cable, been looking around the web and in the manual. I cant seem to find the location of the socket on my 52 plate Octavia. Any help please.

Under the steering column in a little shelf, might have a little plastic cover on the socket.

Thanks for that, now it wont see the interface, even though I told VAG-com program which port to use. Any help please all.

Yep, followed the instructions I got on disc with the cable.

Use the cable in dumb mode, run the test, will say its not a pukka cable if off ebay, apply/save and that should be you........
