What is that pond hose looking hose that goes into the lower side of the airbox on the Vrs?

Seems to dissapear right into the bowels of the thing.

Right so that's been taken off haha.

I've just pulled the hose to airbox off and have it tucked pointing low into the bay, and have capped the airbox with a 2ltr. drinks bottle lid wedged firm in there (it tapers narrower than the lid), i don't think that'll manage to get sucked through... then duct taped all around it and cable tied over the tape to keep it secure.

HATE systems like that. I don't have time to do a proper removal just now, maybe later.

Anyone who's done this see any issues with the above?
