remove vent

Featured Replies

Tried to remove the side vent today but it seems like someone is lurking behind and everytime I pull it pulls back anyone managed to get it out? Whisper the secret mantra please.

I guess this is a little lost in translation - do you mean the dash vent or one on the front of the car?

sorry meant the dash vents the ones on the left and right sides which are quite often used by people to rest their hands on when getting out.

I think they're held in by clips above and below, which can be released by sliding card into the gap...

They have 4 clips (2 top and 2 bottom) holding them in. They are very tight and a pain to get out.

Best bet is to get 4 thin small drivers or something like that to push into the top and bottom and then careully pull it out.

Takes quite a while and be patient, as this job can make you loose your rag.
