Hi all, just bought a cheap old Octavia Mk1 - my first Skoda!

I'm currently going around the scrappys finding replacement parts for damaged bits on my Octavia. I'm almost there & I'm now looking at the simple cosmetics parts. I'd like to replace the hard & uncomfortable plastic gearshift with a nice soft leather one.

Looking online, eBay seems to be my best bet but prices vary from £10 to £30 for what appear to be very similar products. Examples:

I paid around £20 for a genuine Skoda accessory leather gear knob for my Octavia, so around the same price as the second one you have posted above. Fits perfectly and has the shift pattern on the top.

Thanks ExAudiSi, may I ask where you found it - direct from a Skoda dealer? Online Skoda shops seem to sell them for around £40+

Mine came from a Skoda dealer. It is the one in the accessory catalogue, not the one from an L&K model. I think that this is the one;
