Anybody on here done it? Thinking of doing it. Wondering if they fit exactly or if they need modifying?

Sorry buddy but side skirts really are a bit 90's don't you think?!!

You'll be tinting your lights next Wega :D

I have to say I do like those split rims though and think they make the car.......rather than the plastic stick on bits.......

I think the side skirts are acceptable as they are OE parts on the GTI, not some lamo aftermarket stuff like you'd find on superskoda.com :) .

The wheels however are bulls*^t. They're just ropey Inter Action BBS LM knock offs. They're not real split rims. I suppose they're passable from a distance. ;)

He is running H&R coilovers though, so I'll let him off - he's probably blown all his budget on the suspension. :)

I looked into this but the GTi skirt won't fit the Octy. For one thing the 'shark fin' just ahead of the rear wheel arch is too wide and secondly the skirt itself is too long.

I guess he must have doctored them to fit then. This doesn't surprise me as he's gone to the effort of smoothing the after-market grille spoiler into the grille.

Wega3k, I agree with you on the skirts, they look very subtle but very nice, and work well with the trim on the front bumper  and also the wheels they look kack! :thumbdwn:
