Water ingress caused damage to the control unit

Featured Replies

Gizmo is spot on with what he said, the plastic drainage channel can be awkward to move / replace. I did mine in January and the plastic was quite brittle, I used a heat gun to warm it up and it made the job a fair bit easier, the plastic didn't feel like it was about to snap as readily.

Thanks everyone for the input. If only I had been able to log on I would have saved myself a lot of hassle but there u go.

The problems logging on turned out to be the settings on my comp. So what are the modifications I need to do apart from the servo bung......... any extra holes anywhere?

Remove the two bungs, remove the pollen filter housing and replace the seal with the improved version (or silicone sealant) put it all back together again.

There are several walk throughs around on the net (and on here) one such is in the link in my Sig.
