My octavia has the "testing engine electronics" warining light on all the time. It`s the one in the speedo console and is shaped like a side view of the engine. However, there is nothing wrong with the car`s running. Any idea`s what the light is trying to tell me? Thanks.

It means the on board diagnostics has detected a fault somewwhere on the car. You need to get itscanned by either a dealer or someone with VAGCOM.

There are some helpful members on here who have VAGCOM and may be willing to scan it for you.

Unitl you know what the fault code is that has been logged its impossible to know where the problem lies.
