I know this has been covered in the past but has anybody had their petrol vRS serviced recently? I want to know what's being charged for a 1st variable service.

Will depend vastly on the dealer, best to ring around your local ones

£70 for me, but I am good friends with the dealer.

Paid just over £90 for a minor service with Simpsons in Colne. This included my first MoT, but I supplied my own oil & filter (£50).

So I'd say it would have been around £100 if I'd got them to do service only, with oil included from them.

But as said, there's no fixed pricing structure for servicing with Skoda. So it pays to shop around and also varies quite dramatically from region to region.

Maybe try Robert Eardley in Crewe? They've looked after me before and are quite close to you in Stoke. What, 15 miles or so? They're have a branch in Newcastle-u-Lyne too, but don't have experience of that one.

I payed £210 for a second variable service, I thought it was a rip off just for an oil and filter change, especially as I supplied the oil, :(

I should of rung around for a good price but I thought I would be safe with a main dealer

Most members have paid around £120-160.
