Dension iPod Gateway fitting pics

Featured Replies

Many pics have been posted showing how to remove the headunit etc, so these really take over where they leave off.

First hiding the control box, additional cabling and quadlock connector -

Now to get the iPod cable into the glovebox.

The back end of the glovebox, with the carpet still in place -

Alternatively, rather than the drilling, you can run your wires down the driver's side of the radio housing and towards the clutch foot rest pedal. With a bit of patience and some small fingers, the wiring comes out neatly. My unit is black and barely visible down there with the mp3 stuck in it.

There's also another way of avoiding drilling, if you still want it in the glovebox. You can pop out the airbag disabling module in the glovebox and run the cable through the void there. Simply clip away a small piece of plastic on the corner and it'll run down into the box very neatly

It's what I did when I fitted my iPod cable...
