Tonight coming home from work my car started to misfire & loose all power,then the engine management light came on, i got it back to work & found if i disconnect no 2 coil pack it made no difference to the running of the engine,the other 3 did!,i can get a new coil pack for £28 inc vat tomorow,my question is when i have fitted the new coil will the engine management light go out & stay out or am i going to have to get the memory cleared & re-set? thanks mike.

It should go out after a few turns of the key.

The code will still be there until its cleared, so keep it in mind if any thing else goes wrong before you clear it.

Replaced no 2 coil pack & car runs fine & engine management light goes out as normal. will remember about stored codes,thanks fatty:thumbup:
