Bluetooth for Octavia FL

Featured Replies

I saw this on ebay VW RNS510 MFD3 BLUETOOTH KIT GOLF MK6 3C MFD RNS -VER C on eBay (end time 21-Nov-09 21:37:47 GMT) and was wondering if this is OK or should it be a D version?

In the ad they say they will code the unit, does this mean the car won't need coding?

I fancy getting this and upgrading the RNS 510 to the latest firmware for voice control, or possibly create a brick!

Thanks for your help to a novice.

You don't have to have the phone kit for voice control, you can add just the mic...

Either way, pretty certain you will need some code tweaking on your car to get the Columbus, Maxidot & Phone kit all talking to each other...

What car have you got? ...update your profile! :D

Good point profile updated.

you need to do coding! activate voice control on Columbus, enable microphone diagnosis etc... coding on bluetooth kit as well..
