air intake for vrs tfsi

Featured Replies

A friend of mine who has octavia ii vrs, has install an air intake (forge kit).

someone tell him that this air intake is possible to draw in water.

do you think this is possible.

and for last, whitch do you think is the best air intake for octavia ii vrs?

Yes it's possible, as with all intakes - but I think you'd have to drive the car into a lake (or at least a very, very deep puddle) for this to actually happen.

Normal driving in normal conditions (including driving rain etc) and you'll have no problems.

There's no answer to the 'which intake is best' question - all depends on how much you want to pay, how much noise you want, etc etc.

EVOMS is very common and I'm fairly pleased with my BSH, as are many people in America.

where abouts is the filter placed. if it is right down by the lower bumper then yes it could cause an issue in a puddle, any higher up ie by the headlamp then there will be no issue. chuck a pic up of the type of kit he has and where it is positioned, then we'll have a better idea
