i had a celtic remap done on my previous car (ford focus 2.0tdci) and found that there method of mapping left the car with a big torque spike at the beginning of the rev range and little there after and would say avoid as this can lead to trouble.

i would recommend p-torque.co.uk as they also perform dyno runs on the car before and after so you can see what you are getting.

Hi David

We tune approx 10 1.8T each week. We are many VAG forums.

We also have 3 of our own track cars which are running 1.8T 20v engines

Celtic tried to re-map my Ocy vRS a few years ago and failed. They said it was something to do with the REVO trial remap that I had on it a few months previously. They had two attempts but still couldn't do it.

In the end I went to Awesome GTI and they re-mapped it with the APR re-map with no problem.

Well theres APS (or Auto PS) in Brackley, they do remaps to vRS but no idea what type of remap they use. My mate seams happy with the one on his.
