Hi all

How easy is the airfilter to change on the Skoda Octavia 2 RS? I mean is hidden.

If there are pics is will be better.

its easy enough mate, just a bit of a pain.

1-let your engine run for about 5 minutes to let the rubber mounts for the engine cover become a bit more supple.

2. there are 4 mounts that hold the engine cover on two rear and two front.

3. disconnect the maf from the top left and put it some where where it isnt going to get knocked as it sensitive.

4. unclip the down pipe to the turbo @ the top left corner of the engine cover.

5. pullof the engine cover( mine was unbelievably stiff, so much so that the 2 of the 4 plastic mounts that hold it in place sheared off. (cheap to replace though)

6 once off, flip it over and undo the screws on the underside, sap the filters and do the reverse of this. havent got any pics, but its dead dtraight forward
