I moved to the Superb II section a while ago when I took delivery of my current car, but a friend now drives my Octy Elegance DSG, so tends to come to me with enquiries - hence this post (hope you don't mind).

He's convinced that one of his Xenon bulbs is going dim, so needs to replace it, or at least have a spare ready. I've done a little poking about on t'Internet and the prices are all over the place and one local dealer wants £107 per bulb. Now, this may be right, in which case, the other bulbs I've been looking at were the wrong ones. Does anyone know if we have a reliable forum partner source for bulbs, or a fair price/location for such a bulb online, please?

Powerbulbs should have the required replacement bulb and they're the cheapest, reliable place I've seen. There's Freedom discount there too.
