Pic request Gauge holders

Featured Replies

ideally i would have put them under the stereo but ive got a double din and thats going nowhere! so looks like its going to have to be a pillar mounted one! (im having 2 guages so a dummy airvent is out of the question too!) any recomendations on pods? or have people butchered a universal one in?

I couldn't find anything specifically for an Octavia so I went with a universal one like this:

Fits quite well, but I need to sort it out as I managed to shake it loose when I put coilovers on :rofl:

does it curve to the pillars nicely? hard to see on the pic :)

It doesn't follow the curve perfectly but it's not far off. I keep meaning to tidy up the little gap at the top of the pod with a bead of black silicone sealant.

hmmmmmmmm. keep trying to think of alternatives as i don't like the pillar ones :( may try and take the ashtray out and take the gubbings underneath out to fit them in, will have a moochy in the daylight

Have a look at my thread HERE...this will hopefully be of use to you.

2 Steevie;

Where did you buy steering column gauge holder?

I need just one for my boost gauge.

I don`t like pillar holders, they are just too big and ugly... B)

Best regards,

that could be perfect, no mention of where its from though?

As Bodge's link shows Awesome GTi sell the single and double steering column pods!! Far better than the other style IMO.
