What would be your reason for doing this mod. As i understand it there would be no gain on a standrad K03s.

This mod is for a hybrid turbo or a switch to a K04 Turbo that the Cupra R / Audi S3 has, where more air/mixture is required, and those hoses are bigger to support the larger MAF .

It wouldn't fit fine into the stock TIP, my TIP cracked when this was done, but it was kinda held in place by the clip.

did it bolt back into the airbox fine?

reason for doing is it isnt a stock ko3s will be a hybrid

To fit the S3 MAF you would need all new inlet pipework and for what? Nothing. Save your cash!! If going hybrid you'd prob need new inlets anyway.

its a hybrid k03s so im using and aftermarket TIP. what bhp is the standard MAF good for?

you will need to upgrade the maf to a 3inch with a hybrid as well as injectors etc etc but you will need to use a lcr tip as the k03s one will not fit

any thing off a 225 car as the hybrid is using k04 internals and the turbo inlet is the same size... circa the lcr tip is 3 inch at maf end.....

dont waist your time trying to alter a tip just buy the lcr one

p.s where you getting the hybrid from and have you upgraded the diff?? fuel pump ?? fpr?? frontmount ??

brakes?? also it has shown that these units should be run on a high flow manni or they suffer very bad with heat soak.

look on seatcupra.net and badger 5 and there is a link all about hybrids and its not as easy as one would think.

and you still wont hit 300bhp should see 250 to 260 bhp

you will have a good setup there buddy there are 2 mannifold out at the moment

jbs expensive but meant to be the nuts

ina mannifold i have very good and flow brilliant and alot cheaper than jbs

cr turbo's are good cant go wrong only heard good things who is mapping it??

p.s diff is a must as the standard one has the tendancy to go back with the torque your going to pull

thanks matey, i will look into the both of them, i will be getting it mapped at chip wizards in rochdale. used wayne on previous cars with great reuslts so have total trust in him. i did enquire about an abd map with awesome but they're generic maps unfortunaltely

deffo needs to be custom on this one.

badger bill offers a very good service and has so much experience its shocking and has mapped loads of cars

go with poeple you trust thats the best bet.
