XCARLINK ipod connection problems with bluetooth

Featured Replies

ok i have a fabia vrs le with the standard symphony head unit.

got the xcarlink SKU1078 unit (says you can keep the cd changer) and also the bluetooth handsfree kit thing.

all plugs in fine. have connected both earts to the back of the stereo

I can get the radio to work, the ipod works and can control it using the buttons.

The cd changer does not work! should do. when you plug it in you can hear it clunking its way through the cds to check that they are there but comes up with message no cd. works fine with the ipod xcarlink disconnected.

the bluetooth works fine but ONLY when listening to the ipod.

Tried pushing all the buttons etc but im now getting cold outside and abit frustrated.

Anyone else had this trouble or have any ideas to what may be wrong.

Thanks Dave

I found the xcar link was a bit hit or mss when getting the cd changer to work. Just kept repeating the key press until I got it to work

ok sorted.

you have to go from fm to cd (ipod) back to fm and back to cd (cd changer)

abit of a hassle but it seems to work ok.

the bluetooth only works with the ipod so that will be going back to them
