Screw in towing eye for front....

Featured Replies

...With the toolkit or some other hidden place? If so I havent got one...oops!

No! The vRS hasn't got one. Our front towing eye is fixed, and you'll find it if you pull out the grill infront of the intercooler.

Useful to know if you ever get stuck in gravel on a track day!

Ah-ha! I was just about to order one...phew :)

Thanks!

Is there any trick for removing the front grill or do you just give it proper pull?

There's a little cut-away in the underside of the body coloured bit, which is supposed to be a sort of handle. So yeah, just grab it by that and give it a good tug!

I'd make sure the bumper is washed first though, as you can grind any dirt across the bumper when you slide them out. Normally I wouldn't care, but I've just had the bumper resprayed and it's immaculate! Even the underside is perfect for the first time ever!

i had to use mine yesterday to get towed out of the snow, a quick pull and off came the grille!
