hi i was driving my car to day and i noticed the boost gauge was only going to 5psi and seemed to have less power and when i went home and went back out again it went up to 10psi? funny as i think this has bin happening before i fitted the gauge....am fitting my new forge 007p to day so could it be the old dv..any info would be great full thanks.....

sounds like the throttle body may need a clean.

the original dv will be fine no need to uprate unless your going to get a remap as it will not do anything

It'll probably be throwing up the 17705 fault code aswel (pressure drop between turbo and throttle body). Mine does it very occasionally and limits the boost until it's switched off and restarted.

hi i had that code for pressure drop but i had it sorted? my car only does it now and then.......i had my thorttle re lined ....thanks
